were in idaho do u guys hunt for elk and deer? i kno about elk city but any where around boise? or out side of boise

I have no idea about that side of the state. However, there are so many threads that have been started and have ended with some awesome advice about this very subject. Do a search and look for past threads and posts.... it's amazing how much you will learn.

Well if you are around boise you have a great oppurtunity to hunt some huge mulie bucks during the late archery season... You hunt just below bogas basin... And for elk.. Just drive up to Garden Valley(2.5 hours out of boise) and hunt the muzzelloader season. I can't tell you my archery elk spot... Wouldn't want to see ya up there...... Ha Ha.. Those two places will get you started.. If you hunt rifle season.. Drive towards Mountain Home.. Take the Indian Creek exit.. Head towards the mountains!!! Deer all over the place.
