Looking for a bear guide in the Minn. St. Paul area. Can anyone steer me in the right direction.

superior outfitters, who have deer and bear hunting, as well as fishing, operate out of northern wisconsin. The site for bears, www.superioroutfitter.com/packages.asp. I have never hunted with them, but the site makes it look good. One thing, you will find much more variety in bear hunting options if you look in Canada.

Hi Rodger. Hunted 4 years ago around Milac area with Dave Hughgly. He is an excellent guide. I learned more about bear hunting in one week than I could have learned in 10 years on my own. There were four in our group and we went 3 for 4. We should have went 4 for 4. My buddy killed a giant 425 dressed weight, mine was 150 on the head and my dads was 148 all dressed weights. I will see if I can find his phone # at home and let you know. His hunts for 5 days were around $650 with lodgeing.
