HG....... yuppers, a moose is a pretty big critter. As your picture shows though a small projectile put in the right place can take these big animals. You should have some great meals from her in the upcoming months.

Congrats on the moose. I live in AK and see moose allthe time, butgot my first one just three weeks ago and you don't realize how big they are until you are standing over one. Just got my meat back (hot dogs, hot polish sausage, pepper sticks, ground yumm) and probably haveover 220 lbs of meat and I gave half of the moose to my buddy who went and helped pack out.

Which gets me to the pack out, 2.25 miles up hill, between just two guys (no ATV's, bicycles, hand carts, etc allowed). Took us 3 trips at close to 100 lbs.each trip per guy. Hardestthing I have ever done, but oh so satisfying when it was said and done.
