October Idaho Weather

Hi all-

Was just wondering what the weather will be like in the middle of October in the Sawtooth Mtns..

I know the research I've done can't be correct, because I know locally, the weather can be a lot different that a nearby town, which is what the weather sites record data for.

I'm looking for an average range of conditions in the mountains....

Coming from expierence I would have to say be prepared for anything!!! It could be in the 70's all the way down to the low teens! And don't forget about rain or snow! But, If I were to bet I would say cold crisp mornings and nice cooler days not topping more then 45-50 degrees! Great hunting weather!!!

muliefever is about right. Oct. can have some wide ranges in temps and conditions. I look at the Sawtooths every time I sit down to the table. Where are you planning on hunting?
