Colorado unit 74 info

Anyone have any info on unit 74 that they would share? Or posibly unit 71 or 75. These areas are close to Silverton. We are planning on bow hunting from September 3rd thru the 10th. Any help or other area recommendations would be deeply apreciated. Thanks

Unit 74 is a tuff one to hunt a lot of private property and people, not saying there is no elk, just not an ideal unit, unless the snow flies (wintering ground). Unit 71 is a good unit, but rugged and over a mountain from Silverton. Have you been to Colorado before? Email me @[email protected] for some more info.

While these are heavily hunted units, they're popular for a reason-one of the bigger herds in Colorado resides here. You need to get in deep away from the crowds who don't have a means to go in far. It is rigorous country so you need to be in shape with a backpack or have pack stock, we use horses and llamas.
