hello MUSTAD who is ur outfitter in quebec ?? i find no differance in the taste of meat between a bull or cow .[caribou] ..last year we had an american in our group ,he came from wisconsin ,he was a bow hunter ,i ended up shooting a bull for him ,my good deed :D

yes MUSTAD i live in the province of quebec in canada ..we always go caribou hunting around the end of september [1] no flies [2] the antlers have lost theire velvet [3]the temp is much cooler ,p.s. i hate to hunt when the temp is too warm ..

I've hunted Caribou quite a bit north of the Brooks range AK and have loved every minute. They are not hard to hunt, the only real challenge is finding them; they are very nomadic. The meat is wonderful as long as you take one before the rut.

Like mustad, I'll be hunting w/JHA this Sept on my 1st (& only) caribou bowhunt.My hunting partner & I areleaving in just over 3 weeks & man am I PUMPED UP!!

good hunting arrowsmit ..it would be wise to pac a rifle ,just in case ..last year the guy from WISCONSIN the bow hunter shot nothing

Thanks for the advice heinz57, but it'll be the bow or nothing for me. I reckon that's why they call it hunting. ;)
