RE: Wild boar
Ours are true russian decendants, not feral accordin' to the state. We have a two day season between early and late deer seasons. I see some once in a while but so far not durin' those two days. I could go down off the mountain and shoot a feral hog, but I've done that in California, and don't feel like I need another.:D

RE: Wild boar
congrats on the hog!!!
all the hogs we have down in florida unless you go on a private ranch are feral. i would really like to go somewhere that has the russian or european boars. but the ferals are still fun to hunt. :) |
RE: Wild boar
I started Bowhunting hogs in the off season (Texas/Oklahoma) on a regular basis 3 years ago so I could Bowhunt more (retired from REAL work).. This is my last one in Oklahoma, Monday evening, 7:30pm June 20th. 3 Blade Rocky Mountain Ironhead-12 yards, complete pass thru-went almost 60 yards.
In the freezer now. It "IS" tons of fun... |
