What do you think it will cost for an unguided non-resident hunt.Do you have to get drawn for it?I wouldn't mind entertaing the ideal myself, thanks. Bobby

I dont know all the details but I had a couple of close friends do a caribo float hunt last year there and they did it for $2500 that was plane tickets and all. I dont know about how to get the tags yet but I willl here in a couple of days going to do some research on it.

I do think its the way to go the Maine hunt might take a while and I think Alaska would be a better adventure anyway.

I talked to my friend who's a guide In B.C. about 45 minutes to the north of me and asked him about a bow hunt for moose in the Crows nest, its $4500.00 us. Nothing wrong with making a living but don't try to make a retirerment out of me. I too will cheque out options availiable in Alaska.

You think it might take a while to get drawn in Maine or NH ehh??? You might just as well start planning your Alaska hunt, becuase your odds of getting drawn in a New England state are about the same as winning the Million bucks. I know of Mainers who have been putting in their own state for 15 years and never been drawn, I've been putting in for 5 and that's a drop in the bucket.
