They only show it as a full assembly.

RR, Ford is famous for that! I have to deal with P.O.ed customers once in awhile because of Ford's stupid "only sold as an assembly" crap. Just another way to make a buck.

I will keep checking, maybe someone will trade in an older truck.

Thanks F4YG.I'm sure Ford isn't the only one pulling that crap.They will rob you one way or another.I have a 04 Nissan Frontier. U-Haul damaged the bumper installing the hitch. Their insurance wanted an estimate. The truck was a couple weeks old.New rear bumper installed 482.00. U-Haul's insurance paid it. I have a small ding in my bumper and the 482.00 went right in my pocket.It was more the principal of it. U-haul admitted they did it. When their insurance contacted them they denied it.I was smart enough when it happened to get the manager to put in on the receipt.That's the only thing that saved me.
