That's a good truck and a good price. I've owned two single cab trucks. A 1996 Dodge Ram 1500 Sport and a 2003 Ford F-150 Lightning. Both were fun to drive but not very practical for what my hobbies are. When I sold the Lightning I bought a 2008 Toyota Tundra 4X4 Double Cab. I absolutely love it! I'll never go back to a single cab truck again. Plus, it's more practical since I have a child now.

But you won't be 18 forever. That truck is in pretty good shape for a 6 year old and still has plenty of life left on it. So you'll probably keep it for a while. Do you ever haul more than 1 buddy to the woods with you or a bunch of gear that you don't want exposed to the elements??? I'm not trying to talk you out of it. If you like it, get it. All I saying is, based on experience, think ahead about what you might be into in a few years before buying it.
