1977 Firebird

Anybody know the rough gas mileage of a 1977 Pontiac Firebird. I'm meeting with a guy this Sunday and might be trading a saturn for his 'bird. Just wanted to check if anyone knew...
Its got a v8 and thats all he's said so far.

Ranger is pretty close to the mileage you will get with the Firebird.....If it is a base Firebird it should at least have the 350 2-bbl carb on it,some of the Firebirds had the Chevy 6 cylinder engine in them.....if it is a Formula or Trans Am Firebird it will more than likely have the 400 engine with a 2-bbl or 4-bbl carb..What everFirebird you happen to end up with shoot me an e-mail if you need any info or parts for your Firebird.I've been dealing with Pontiacs for over 30 years and have all kinds of information on trim tags VIN numbers, parts and places to find lots of used parts for them. Here is a phone number you can call for a free Firebird Catalog, just give them your name and address for the catalog and state you have a 1977 Firebird for that specific make and year of Pontiac catalog. (other years may be include with the 1977). 1-800-421-2637 Ames Performance Engineering out of NH I believe?
