Hunting Trailer...

So, I've decided to bite the bullet and make a trailer. I say "make" loosely as it's really my brother in law who will do the welding. I'll help out, pay for everything, and watch alot.

Sizewise, I'm thinking 7' x 14' with 3' sidewalls. I'm thinking I'll put two axels on it rated at 3500 lbs each so that will give me a net cabable load of 6000 lbs ( a bit overkill for hunting, but I'm thinking it will come in handy when hauling my wood).

I've looked at both the classic spring based suspensions as well as the tension based suspensions and am on the fence right now. Does anybody have experience/advice either way?

Thanks,
