My daughter had a great time. I let her drive on the dirt roads and she got to shot the 20 gauge.
I have taken all of my kids hunting, and would not trade it for any thing. I try not to take it to seriously and let them call.
BUT, none of them can sit still for very long.

I will be hitting it hard this weekend.

It is hard when you take the kids out and they cant sit still. Especially since you know that if they did get a shot, it would be memorable for both of you. But I have alot of respect for you for getting them out there. Its tough with all the technology out there thats keeping kids in front of a screen. Once they reap the benefits of a successful hunt, they will realize all the knowledge you are trying to get through to them. Keep at it!!

Bornagain, glad you and the daughter had some fun with it, bottom line thats all that matters. I take my boys fishin all the time and huntin a few so far, it can be tough at times, but it only takes one time for things to work out right and either ya get a shot at something or they catch some fish, and that makes 20 bad trips worth it. Not taking it too seriously is definately the key, ya gotta remember that going into it, sometimes easier said than done for me! My boys are a year or two within the age of turnin em into some real outdoor monsters!! I can't wait! Good luck this weekend!
