seen one of the local ranchers in town the other day and he said he had a flock of about 40 on his place. I still have 3 other properties to check out yet, but they all had birds on them last year so I am assuming they will again this year. problem is they don't start showing up until late march/early april.

Alright I'll be captain and put your team's name as the Fan Clan.

I have been out a few times here in Florida. Had bad luck so far. Hunting public land is difficult when dealing with other hunters. Had one turkey gobbling coming in and had a hunter slip between me and the turkey and killed him. He never made a call but ambushed him. The hunter did not think anything of it. Also had a couple of hunters decide to walk around at 9:30 am and busted a gobbler that was coming in quiet. Seen him sprinting in the other direction. Oh well, that's public land hunting in Florida. Heading back out tomorrow though.

Im starting April 22. And FINALLY am starting to get some decent, warmer weather here in mid-Michigan. Hopefully it'll get the gobblers strutting.

10 days and counting for opening day of Oklahoma's Spring Turkey season. I am having some sleepless night the closer it gets here. Making the wife irritated at me playing with the calls in the house though.

Lol sounds about right!!

Just got my red dot sighted in today on my turkey gun....one shot is all it took. Helped a buddy of mine pattern his new Mossberg 535 (nice gun).

Cannot wait!
