I hope it's not one of these years. So far all of my scouting trips have been cancelled for one reason or another and tomorrow's just got cancelled at 11:15 pm. I only take comfort in this that I know the area well seeing that it is the family farm I hunt on and nothing changes much from year to year.

itll be ok if u have to go out and just listen for a day during season when u can hunt and set up in spots that used to produce birds. they always do the same thing year after year

Finally made it out today after work for a few hours, only saw one loaner hen. No gobbles at all, won't have time again until Friday after work.

OMG What a time for new asian g/f to go wild. Wore me out this weekend and I blew out my back! Took last 2 days off work sedating myself with vicodin & acetaminophen. That's what I get for bein a bad boy. I can't even walk to load my hunting gear in jeep for my first hunt Saturday morning. This is a chronic lower back sprain I've had off/on for 15 years. Last flare up was 3 years ago. Anybody with one of these that can offer secret to fast healing? Not sue if a heat pad is good or bad. I have been maximizing my sleep.
