JW, I wish I could answer all your questions but I still have yet to kill one. Ive been trying 4 years to find the perfect situation.. Hasn't happend yet. Turkeys either get hung up, dont come into my calling, or go the opposite direction. But this is the year... I can feel it.

We have been seeing ALOT more turkeys on the property so thats a good start.

I use muzzy broadheads. Straight into the drumsticks is the plan. I have done research and asked other hunters where to shoot them with a bow. They all say head or drumsticks.

This next week I start buying tags. It looks like GA and TN are not happening this yr. It's okay am getting old for long road trips. I still might hit KS.

But I have 2 tags so far. One for MI - opens 4/22 and one for Fort McCoy and that opens 4/22 as well. It will be Fort McCoy 1st.

On March 18th Zone 1 Wis kill tags go on sale and then March 19th Zone 2 , etc. YOu can buy one tag per tag. On Saturday all zones are up for sale but again you can only buy one tag per day until gone. So by the end of March I should have 6 more tags!

I like the way WI allows this.

Turkey dynasty sounds good to me. I saw a flock on the side of the highway last week, getting stoked!
