I just got back from a vacation in Florida and I saw a few osceolas running around next to the highway, got me fired up for opener which is Saturday the 13th! Also while hiking today my dog scared up some turkeys in a spot I would never have thought they would be, might only have to cross the street to shoot a bird!

Well-well-well - I see a few of you have been busy and way to go gents!!!!.......If you men want to win this thing - it will take at least one bird from all of us.....I have been close several times.......
However - the main point is have fun! Learn from your mistakes and most of all be safe out there......

Now I still have snow but the birds are gobbling now. I did find a bachelor flock of 13 2 yr olds or better and one that was huge! Everyone of those Toms any one of you would have been proud to thump! But they won't be staying together much longer......the Jakes are running rampant as if on Viagra.....struttin their 4 large tail feather futile moves on the hens.....

I don't start till 4/22 and then it will be a rush for the next 5 weeks. I won't be around much.
The time I will have will be tabulating total scores for all.......

Good luck to all.....

Like Si of Duck Dynasty - float like a butterfly and gobble like a turkey - be a like a turkey, think like a turkey, but be where the turkey wants to be but before them and you will kill em everytime.....

Dave......JW
