Guys, I screwed up yesterday. Was out putting stands up and walking a new piece of ground, when I come up over a rise and low and behold there they were. 5 longbeards looking at me, they slowly walk away, but they were all easy pickings. The worst part about it was the shotgun was sitting in the back seat of my vehicle. To lazy to carry it around with me.........Live and Learn!

Got me a Turkey
Opening day was 10-06 and I went out in the rain, My friend went out too, about 300 yards down the field, not 30 mins after he gets there I hear a bang, So my hunt was over for that morning. That afternoon I get out there with my bow, I was there about 1 1/2 hours when 11 turkeys came in and 3 were big toms
. Well I pulled my bow back and let the arrow fly, and I missed[:@]. They dont hold still for long. So that hunt was over. The next morning nothing, But that night here they come, the same 11 from the night before, But this time I have my friends 12ga. SoI sat there,they gotabout 22 yards from me, eating the berrys off of the tree. when BANG!!
His weight was 21lbs
Both spurs were 1 1/4 inch
Beard length was 11 inch
21 + 12.5 + 12.5 + 22 = 68
