Well guys my season opens up on Monday. I am going there tomorrow morning and see what the birds are doing. And then hopefully roost em in the evening. I have been there the last 3 weekends and they haven't done the same thing twice yet.
Hopefullycome Monday they will feel like responding to my calls and dekes. Because I have no idea where they are going after they fly down. They have been roosted in the same area twice, but headed 2 totally different directions after they hit the ground.

I'm leaving at O' Dark-Thirty tomorrow for eight days. My season starts Tue, 04-15. I'll arrive & set up camp about noon. That will leave all afternoon to scout & all day Monday also. I'm trying to get my first two Merriams! Here's hoping that Team 13-Struttin' Stuffers kick some butt!!!!! Good luck to all my fellow team members!

Our freakin' opener sucked, had a tresspasser; actually the adjoining landowner shot a big tom on my side of the fence while the bird was struttin' my way 60 yds. and closing right down the road bed in my direction. I had to duck my head because I was getting peppered! The S.O.B. ran on my side of the fence, grabbed the bird and hopped back across. Yeah I wanted to kick his you know what but I would have to tresspass to do so. Paybacks are hell Barry Webb from Hanson, KY!!!

Hey guys, jus got back from my trip! I ended up killing 3, It was the worst weather i have ever hunted in 30 degrees wit rain, snow and 40 mph winds in nebraskaand it wasnt much better in kansas! I killed a big bird in kansas that should help out the team! I will post the measurments tommorrow!

Great looking turkey you got there Lance.
I am going to get back after them this weekend. They just had too many hens with them on Monday and Tuesday when I was out. They would not budge away from those hens.
