ORIGINAL: MOmightymite Not til April 21st here, and I thank god this year. Usually I would want the season earlier, but by this time friday the river by my house(meremac river)will be up 43' out of the banks. It might be the worst flood since 1982, and we had a really big one in '93. I-44 was closed an hour after i left college for home(spring break). When i went over the bridge at 1pm it was 8ft or better from the bridge. At 4pm it was over the bridge and 44 was closed and had to be re routed. It is not going to be a good next couple of days here in Missouri. |

Youth seaon starts this saturday and i am taking my younger sister....then regular season opens on the 29th so hopefully i will be able to connect on opening mornin
could it count for our team if my sister connected on a bird? lol we would get an early jump on the competition |

well dang..lol i have high expectations this season on taking my limit so hopefully i can accomplish my goal

MO....over here in S.IL we have had bad floods..hear about the levee breaking over there??
What about Harrisburg,Ill s flood. You should come down and bowhunt over here! |

Well guys we were on the birds this mornin but we just couldn't seal the deal...saw a total of three gobblers and about 11 hens just wouldn't come in those extra few yards....youth season ends sunday and the regular season starts up next Sat. hopefully by next Sat. afternoon we will have some points on the board
