I'm in the same boat as you recurver, just waiting for May 5. Had 8 toms in the neighbors backyard last week, so they are still hanging close to my property.

I had another tomless weekend [:@]. I called a hen in within 5 minutes Saturday morning but she was all I saw. I'll be out again this weekend. I'm going back to the place I went on opening weekend. At least I had birds gobbling there. Maybe this will be the one.

Well guys its all over here in Alabama. I did kill another bird last thursday but wouldnt have helped. 20Lb 8 3/4 inch beard and inch spurs. Missed another one friday at 25 or so yards. HAHA just wasnt there...... Hope all is doing great SAFE HUNTING GUYS.......
