Anyone seen anything? Other teams are starting to get scores on the board. Team 14 has two birds. No worries though, it's still real early.

car, out season opens April 12th and runs till May 4th. According to NWTF and KYFW there are a good number of birds state wide. Most of my hunting is done in Union, Webster and Crittenden couties, Union has about the least amount of birds it seems while Webster seems to have the hightest amount. Ky.has a great deal of public land to hunt which I will be trying this year some. I live a shot distance from a couple of spots which look good now but I don't know how hard it will get hit on opening day or during the season. Good hunting.

My son got 2 with one shot this morning.18lb 7oz,10 1/4" beard 1"-1 1/16" spurs,and 14lb 5oz 1" spurs and 10 3/16" beard,4 1/4" beard,and 3 1/2" beard!I went by myself this evening,and got my biggest ever!17lb 6oz,1 9/16"-1 5/8" spurs,and 10 1/4" beard!!

All on public land!

Just need to get webbclan to post our score!

Back in town after a Spring Break week with the family. NICE WORK RANCHAND99. I will get 'er posted.

Special Youth Only Hunt coming up this weekend in Oklahoma. I will have my boys out there. I will be in the field opening day which is April 6th.

Again, awesome job Ranch. The score will be posted promptly.

3. Do write a short story and include when (date-time), where (state-county if known), and what weapon you used (a brief description of your hunt – a brief description of weapon used for the kill when you post a picture.

4. Multiple bearded birds add all beard measurements together (must see beards in picture)

6. If you aren't able to score your quarry for whatever reason, identify if your bird as a Hen, Bearded Hen, Jake, or Tom, and you can use this tableif you're unable to score:
Hens 10 points, Bearded Hens 15 points, Jakes 20 points, Gobblers 30 points ( difference between Gobbler or Jake will be made based on a clear picture of the tail fan extended as if in strut – tail attached to the bird)

7. Only one legal bird per registered Team member can be used for the Team’s total points. If you shoot more than one bird do alert your captain -do post according to above However – Your Team Total Score is based from each Team Member’s biggest bird – not the average.
