Hey yall. Sorry I wasnt talkin so much, been kinda busy lately. Tryin to finish up on my wrongful termination grievance! Plus scoutin and gettin all that ready and tryin to do ALOT of other stuff. lol Got too much goin on right now!
But anyhow, Im excited for season! The snowey weather broke for while and heard a few birds talkin this and yesterday mornin. Now Im waitin out this rain and hopefully Ill make another trip down to southern Ohio to listen again and do some more foot work to find a few more birds. I swear the one this mornin was tellin me he wanted a ride in my truck here in April!;)

Sorry that i havent been talking much lately, I've been out ribbening tree's on deer runways so when the snow melts i know where to look for sheds. Anyhow am i the youngest on the team? im 16 turning 17 in May..

first day in the woods didn't go as planned. no birds seen or heard ,very unusual for the property that I'm on this weekend. I was reading the posts of some other florida guys that made out well today. maybe tomorrow will be more eventful.

Hey....I went out scouting today, and I was a little disappointed. In the past years, when you got out of your truck and shut the door, you could literally see birds scatter there were so many of them. Seems like there isn't many around this year. I did find evidence that a few are around, however, it seems like this year could be a challenging year. Luckily, if this property doesn't produce, I have two others I can try. I start in 6 days!!!
