Asking what kind of bow you shoot is kinda like asking what truck you drive. It's all personal preference. Mathews, or Hoyt? Ford or Chevy? That's what makes the debate so great. There are no wrong answers. My choice? The other "M" bow that nobody seems to want to talk about. Martin I have 2 of them and love them both. Smooth, accurate, quiet, and less expensive than most comparitive models. I'm thinking about trying traditional archery and if I do buy a recurve, it will be a Martin for sure.

When I started bowhunting, my wife bought me a Hoyt Gamegetter II. Basic, no cams, shoots like a dream. I now use traditional bows. Mess with a few nice shooting Brownings I've picked up used, but have been hunting with both a takedown recurve and a long bow. I built both from Bingham kits. Great shooting bows!
