G5 Montec Broadheads

Just curious to see if anyone uses them and how they work. They look pretty like they would do a great job. Thanks in advance.

RE: G5 Montec Broadheads

I got excited, I thought you had some for sale. I shot them this year and took two deer. I shot a large buck, over 200lbs field dressed. It went all of 25 yards and died within sight. I also shot a doe with the same results. The most impressive thing for me was how close to field points they shoot. I did not have to resight. They shot as good as the spitfires I previously shot. They are easy to sharpen with a flat stone and are tough. I killed both deer with same head. (sharpened in between). Both shots were complete pass throughs and the arrow was an inch or two in the ground behind them.

They make a practice head that your proshop should have. Mine let me shoot several shots with a couple demo heads to see if they performed. I would recomend this as the run about $30 per pack of 3.

If anyone reads this and has any 100 grain heads they don't like and want to sell send me a message I would be interested. I only have 3 and would like 3 more, but am waiting for them to go on sale.
