Default Gamo .177 is a real killer

Got a great deal on a Gamo .177 cal springer. After shooting a wide variety of pellet weights through my chrono, I settled on 8 grain hollow points. Its only been 2 weeks since I bought it but Ive already got 6 greys, some rabbits, 1 skunk and 3 coons. This thing is far more powerful that I thought they could be. Came with a 3-9 scope.

Impressive kills! What ranges are you shooting at and what aiming points?

Most are 30 feet or less and right behind the ear or between the eyes.

My buddy has one...my son killed a squirrel with it last year off our cabin deck at 35yds. Agree, the pellet guns these days are miles ahead of the old ones.

That's impressive. I have a Crossman BB gun that is all over the paper. I'd never hunt with it. In fact, it took me 10 shots to hit a 5 gallon bucket.

What kind of action is it? Compressed air, or a spring? Is it manual reload after every shot ?
