First Adult Airgun

After hearing from you all and reading reviews I was going to get a Benjamin Trail NP2 but I wasn't really fond of the stock design. Then I saw Cabelas had the Steel Eagle with the same system for the same price but a more conventional stock. And in .22 cal. Got it home and wiped out the bore then it took 4 shots to get it sighted in at 15 yards.
I know it will take about 100 shots or so to start getting accuracy but I'm happy with it so far.

I got one of the Trail NP2's in a .22 cal. I really like that gun but I i needed to do a trigger job on it. I went to the local hardware store and found several springs and just tried them out. I finally got one that worked. It still has a two stage trigger but it is different. You can feel the first stage get to the second. Then it is a 2 pound pull after that.

Mine shoots the Crosman dome 14.3 grain pellets very well. My Center point scope crapped out on me so I put on a UGT 3x12x44 scope. I like the rifle a lot and have killed a pile of varmints with it.

I made a set of crossticks for it and I love those things.

I bought my first Adult Air Rifle last year...... actually..... I bought my teenager one for Christmas, and just HAD to buy myself one as well. Bought the Game Silent Cat.
We went out squirrel hunting from the deer stand the next morning and shot 2 fat squirrels within an hour. A lot of fun!
