10 grain hollow point. At that weight its going about 800 FPS through my chronograph.

Yesterday this bird feeder destroyer showed up. My biggest coon to date.
This guy is huge (weighs 15 pounds) . Looking for a local trapper who might want the pelt since its prime.

I have been doing varmint control with airguns for long time now. They are cheap and effective enough. Although the Gamo is .177 , so it is not the .22 like some more expensive airguns are, added velocity makes up for it and is enough for kill, with almost any pellet.

That Gamo I would consider to be actually one of the, if not the, best airgun for the money. Especially considering the fact that you get full package, scope and scope mount included.

I always wanted to eat one. Just not sure it's worth the effort skinning one for a few oz. of meat.

They are pretty lean. Very tasty. Agreed, 1 alone is not much of a meal. Ive taken 28 so far.

What do you do with all the Raccoons?

I had 1 mounted. Another will become a rug. After that, if I don't have any thing to do with them, I may not take them any more. No one wants pelts these days.
