Small game capable air pistols?

Does any air gun manufacturer make an air pistol powerful enough to reliably take small game?

What do you class as "small game". Squirrels, grouse, rabbits?

Check out Crosman.

They have two air pistols that I know of for .177 and .22 cal. Many great reviews for both pistols and there are some videos on Youtube if you feel like checking them out.

The Airforce Talon SS is a compact air rifle / long air pistol that can accept a scope. It is a good hunting airgun.

What is small game to you? A frog can be to some people, So let us know exactly what you classified as small game

Frogs are not small game by any definition, they are amphibians and while I have heard the term game fish used for certain fish, there are no "game amphibians" that I have ever heard of.

Frogs are considered small game here in NY. If you go to the DEC website for ny you will find amphibian/reptile category under small game section. I hunt frogs with air guns and slingshots on occasion in the summer for frog leg. I use a cheap bb gun with 300 fps to take em out with head shots they stay still and are easy targets yet fun and taste great at the same time in my opinion!
