okay I bit the airgun market
Cabelas had a sale and I bought a Gamo Whipser Quiet Fusion 0.177 cal. More so to use with my grandkids since 22 ammo is so hard to find.
If this works well I will outfit each grandkiddy. But for now we will share one. I do have my old Benjeman Sheridan .22 topped with a Tasco scope. That gun is well over 50 yrs old and still does the job. JW |
An air gun makes a lot of sense. You can practice, teach the kids while spending quality time, hunt and shoot when you want. Hard to beat those options!

Air rifles are great. Quiet and lots of authority.

I can't wait till I can afford a BMod. From everything I've read, that is going to be one fun and long lasting pellet gun that will see a lot of hunting time for turkeys. :s4:
I've had a lot of Crosman .177 pumps over the years and shot a lot of non game birds and squirrels, etc. with them--whole lotta fun. I've shot a friend's Sheridan .20 (awesome pellet gun and pellets) a few times and that was one truly impressive airgun for its' day. I have an older Beeman Crow Magnum but haven't messed with it a lot and am not over impressed with it (maybe I was expecting too much, not sure). But I just can't wait to try out a BMod. :s4::s4: |
