Yes, i would agree with sticking to those hollowpoints for the fox and such. Don't use them on gopher sized animals, i find they just pass right through them like they were FMJ's. You are also correct with considering anything out to 100yrds on target, it drops something like 1" at 100yrds.

Also i think the mach 2 is rather stupid to get, ammo is $2 cheaper than the HMR for the same number of rounds but it doesn't have near the abilities of the HMR.
