no no don't drill the forearm. just go to wal-mart and buy a end cap for the shell tube with a sling stud mounted right on it.
What he said - DON'T DRILL THE FOREARM! A replacement cap is available, and is
inexpensive. If not at Wal-Mart, then check with your local gunshop.
