I have a mossberg 500 for over 14 years now.. It is a solid gun for the price. Can't go wrong with it.. shoots anything i put in it and has been reliabe even in terrible weather. I really believe that there is little difference between a $275 shotgun and a $1000 if they both shoot shells without malfunction. I have my shotgun to shoot, not to stair at for it's beauty.
