ijummy, I'll tell you why I want to do that. I don't like BT's grips very much. I like that they are thin, but IMO they are not condusive to repeatable hand placement. It would be nice if they had a thumb grove on the right side. That would really help. I don't really have a problem with torquing, but rather trying to get hand placement exactly the same from shot to shot. It makes a difference for me between an x and a 5.

I can grip a Hoyt Protec with sideplates exactly the same from shot to shot, but on my Constitution it is much more difficult. I have to really pay attention to what I'm doing. With the Hoyt my hand just slides into the same place automagically w/o thinking about it. Not so with the BT.

I understand that , and am actualy haveing the same problem with my old glory , I am used to a high grip , like dartons grip promotes . I was thinking of just wraping some simms grip tape around the lower 3/4 of the grip . Heat and a screwdriver , would probably spell disaster in my hands
