Hey Turkeyhunter1, I got the New York Outdoor News and they had a couple articles on the '04 deer kill being down 20% from '03, 200,000 vs 253,000.The year before that was 308,000.They gave many reasons from weather to doe tags, age of hunters and even the lack of moving deer do to portable tree stands, but no mention of predators.
I guess if the coyotes haven't had an effect yet they soon will. They got to run out of small prey sooner or later. Did I mention alot of my neighbors seem to be missing there family pets. Oh well, must be a coincidence.
