Mine would have to be the 250 Savage, or maybe it's big brother the 257 Roberts. Very accurate, plenty powerful enough for any deer, and to top it off LOW recoil. Don't hurt that most seem to be in classic firearms. 'Course now, there ain't no flys on the 270
