Send me a private message and I'll give you the name of somebody to talk to at Remington. I too had problems with my 710 and Remington took care of the problem, plus they paid for ALL shipping costs. I could not have asked for more and their customer service was top-notch in my opinion. The fact that they haven't replied to your email is not a good thing, but I guarantee if you call their customer service center and talk with the lady who helped me, they'll treat you right. Don't give up on their customer service until you've talked to somebody.
