You just received a PROfessional opinion and, from how I read your post, you have trouble accepting it.

Draw length does have a definition. How it is applied to the various levels of fit/form is something that can't be absolutely defined. While we know what standards should be met, adopting those standards to the various physical assets and liabilities have to always be considered.

Shortening the draw length, to effectively pull the string away from 2 of the 3 effective anchors points to enable just one to be positive, is not, IMPO, a wise thing to do. Shortening/repositioning the release aid to maintain 3 possible anchor points should be the best approach.
