Welcome aboard, Chasman. I'll be just across the Crest Trail around Tacoma Pass. I may even park in the Taneum to get to one spot on the West side. I hunted the Taneum the first season I moved out here. Way too many dirt bikes and berry pickers for my liking. The elk turned into ghosts. I didn't even see a deer. They really need to move our season back to late Sept/early Oct. Timber lands are all shut down, and we are competing with the late summer crowds. And we aren't going to adversely affect the breeding at all. That's another story though. Good luck!
