I have not seen a test of the SRH Alaskan ,but after shooting my SRH 454 7 1/2" at dusk with Hornady 240 gr factory loads ( lots of muzzel blast & fire) the 2 1/2" barrel may blind , deafen , kill and cook a bear all at the same time if shot at point blank range at night .

I bet almost all of the ammo ever shot thru 1 will be 45 colt ammo
