Bell & Carlson Stock
I bought a new Remingtom 700 MTN LSS in .270 WInchester. I want to use this as the basis of a project rifle. I asked my gunsmith, who I respect, about options for a synthetic stock that would be about 8 oz lighter than the laminated wood. He suggested a Bell & Carlson synthetic with a full aluminum bedding block. It weights in at 2.25lbs and he is going to compare that to the weight of the laminated factory stock. Does anyone have experience with the Bell & Carlson? Thanks.
