Default RE: Coyote IN DE

There were some confirmed yote citings in Prime Hook. I have seen a yote pelt Fish and Wildlife has(or did have) in its Pocession. It was a road kill out by Blairs or Griffith Pond about 7+ yrears ago. The pelt was used in a wildlife presentation to a youth group.
A friend of mine who lives and hunts in the rural Seaford area claims he has seen 1/2 dozen yotes down there. No Doubt those rabbit, deer killin rascals are here in Delaware. I was stationed in Southern CA in early 70's. That place was lousy with yotes. I've seen 1st hand what a pack of yotes will do to deer. You could forget about owning a cat or small dog aroud there - Fast Food for a Yote!

They are killin machines - plain and simple.

BTW - the lousy fox is only 2 steps below a yote. Delaware has way way to many fox thanks to blue bloods like the Dupont bunch.
Prime example of politics in wildlife management. I can tell you what any decent Rabbit hunter will do to a Fox. No I won't - its not legal.

Get your local F&W biologist off to the side and give him a couple of brewskees and I'll bet he/she will tell you point blank they need to shoot off, thin out the fox population - big time!
