There are literally hundreds of wildcats out there, many of which are one of a kind.

Probably one of the most notable I've stumbled on is the .22 Eargesplitten Loudenboomer (no joke). I found it while browsing www.reloadersnest.com . According to the brief background for the round, it was designed by none other than P.O. Ackley in an attempt to break 5000fps in a small arm. It was a .224cal cartridge based on the .378 Weatherby Magnum case! And people think a .220 Swift is a barrel burner!
