Their biggest attribute is "pre stretched" strings. Yet most, if not all the shooters I have spoken with tell me they still stretch. Brownell's string material is, in my opinion, the cadillac of string materials. The BYC 450 plus, my favorite, sells for $37.99 for a 1/4 lb. spool. The 452 and 452 in colors sells form $44.99 and $47.99. This is enough string material to manufacter over 100 superior strings at a cost of less then $6.00 per unit. If a string makes you a better shooter it's worth the price, but when the guy next to you is shooting a string he purchased for $15.00 and smokes your butt, you just pissed away $85.00 to loose to your competition. Many products improve an average shooter to better than average. This is not one of them.
