Just one more thing! A 25-06 Rem. with a 120 gr. bullet is going to perform pretty close to a 270 Win with 130 gr. bullet when the "same type" of bullets are used. There isn't a deer out there that is gonna be able to tell the difference between the two! Its also going to have pretty close to the same recoil as well. If you could handle that you could handle a 270 Win. But then again the 25-06 is a really nice deer cartridge too! If you got one you won't be under gunned at all!
