i converted my thompson center over to the nipple that allows you to use a musket cap instead of the no. 11 cap and lately have developed a problem. it takes two trigger pulls to set the cap off. i tried to adjust the spring to get more wack but its not working. do sidelock springs wear out easily? the gun is a little over 10 years old. im using cci caps and dont think its a bad batch of caps. im gonna send it back for a look but was wondering if maybe the musket cap takes more to set off .
