Default RE: legalizing crossbows

Hunters lobbying against hunting????? That makes sense
Not at all. It is bowhunters lobbying to keep weapons that do not belong in the bow season OUT of the bow season. Let 'em hunt with whatever they want to IN THE PROPER SEASON.

With "hunters" like you and Arthur around we don't need anti's because it looks like you guys are doing your best to make hunting illegal for no reason other than greed and self righteousness
SA, I'm getting very annoyed with your selfrighteous accusations. See above note. Also, once again - and I'll type r-e-a-l slow so maybe you can understand....

Crossbow proponents are doing their worst to get into bow season, where they KNOW for a fact that the majority of bowhunters oppose them (90% opposed according to the last polls taken in Texas), for their OWN greedy and selfish reasons.

Why aren't they lobbying for their OWN season? Because they think it's easier to shove their way into ours. I don't know about you, but that tells me a lot about the overall type of people we can expect to see showing up in the woods if they win.

At the game commission's public input meetings I've attended, each time this crossbow crap has been brought up, it has not been from any grassroots group of concerned crossbow shooting hunters. It has ALWAYS been Bernie Horton's lobbyist. If there was any huge outrage over being excluded from bow season, where are the PEOPLE?

Well, enough. I should know better by now than to engage in this nonsense. I've got a real nice piece of wood that's just begging to become a bow, so I've got something much more deserving of my time and attention. See ya at the game commission meetings, boys, and we can duke it out where it REALLY counts.
