Just because one stands against certain practices for the future of hunting and the future of the herd, does not make one an anti-hunter, and yes, it does make sense.
Not wanting bait is one thing but it's a completely different ball game when you start trying to keep certain groups of hunters from entering the woods and even taking up the sport. When you start driving people away from the sport that needs all the support that it can get, that's the difference.
crossbows are not archery weapons. Primitive, definitely, but archery....no. When the archer is no longer holding the force of the string back at full draw it is not an archery device.
Were they archery weapons 2500 years ago when they are invented?
