Default RE: Spine size

Hey Bigbulls,

Thanks for the quick reply.

Actually, to be honest, I have become obsessed with speed, as it relates to the arrow falling. I wanted to try the minimum weight on my BK to see how close I could come to the 350 fps claimed IBO. I want to see how far I can use 1 pin. I can use one pin now, out to 30 yds, with a 480gr total weight.

If I can get a light arrow to fly straight, I think my setup would be deadly on the 3d courses where the yardage is always different. I would like to be dead on from 5-50 yards, but think I can get it 5-40 realistically with one single pin (the days of 5 pin sights are over for me).

I would also hunt with it, penetration is not really an issue. At 340 fps there should be twice the sufficient energy for a passthrough (90lbs ke). I don't shoot past 30 yds when hunting, and at that speed there isn't much time to jump the string. Every single deer I have shot has heard my bow and started to jump the string. That is why I will not take a shot past 30yds, I learned the hard way: running out of blood.

I am not trying to do the speed vs. quiet thing. I have tried quiet and it works for some people, but not for me. I want speed.

So, is that CX arrow pretty stiff?
