Default RE: buying a new knife

I'll tell you what, bronco, I'm going rabbit hunting today, and I'll take my chipaway as ungamely as it may be, to skin the rabbits with. Fat is fat, and rabbits have a lot of it, and as we all know, fat takes the edge off a blade like cutting stones. I'll get back to you tonight about how well the edge holds up. What blade style is the one you're buying?? Remember that no matter how well a blade keeps an edge, its shape determines its usefulness while skinning. I almost always use drop point blades to skin, however I'll never use a tanto to skin anything again, but I often use semiserrated clip point blades, in this case, form determines function, don't waste your money on over sized hunting knives, the longest blade you'll ever use should be about 3-4 inches.

GOTTA LOVE THAT MARLIN MAGIC!!!!
